Not testing the price. Often your visitors get extremely skeptical when they see that your product has too low a price that doesn't quite match your long and powerful web copy. A natural question that would occur to your visitor is, "Why is this product dirt cheap if it's as good as the copy claims?" To avoid this, you should test out at least three different prices (low, medium, high) and judge which direction your price should go based on the result.

Too many colors or fonts. More than 4 colors or fonts on your web copy will make it appear amateurish and it's even more so if you highlight sentences all over the place.

"Crappy" images on your web copy. Some experts will tell you that a graphic header tends to decrease your response rate. The truth is, only low-quality, distracting and irrelevant headers do. However, if you use good quality, profession images for your header or within the body of your copy, your conversion rate will almost always increase.

Too wide a web copy and too small a font size. These factors directly affect your readability. The human eyes get strained easily when reading texts of more than 650-pixel wide, which is why newspapers have narrow column. And if you have small fonts or cram too much content in a small space, visitors will get a headache and leave your website.

No clear call-to-action. If you want your visitors to subscribe, make a purchase or click on a link, you must make it very clear to them. The most frequent mistake internet marketers make on this issue is being too shy to ask for the money. Don't ever make this mistake. Make it very clear that you want them to order...
